Absa asked us to help them capture SA's
imagination and educate customers about
the simplicity of doing banking digitally –
in a 'non-banky' way.
Solution
Luckily, the entire offering could be
summed up in one simple phrase:
'You can do it kweeka!' This was
combined with a quirky character
and a cash prize incentive to create
a 360-degree campaign, bringing Absa's
banking innovation into the limelight.
Success
We did good! Internet banking:
Transactions up by 8,2%, led by
prepaid airtime at 12,3%.
Cellphone banking: Transactions
grew by 21,8%, with prepaid airtime
leading the increase at 41%. Cellphone
Banking Lite: Transactions grew by
115,6%, driven by prepaid airtime
at 110%.
